How much does corporate monogramming cost?
The honest answer is a range with knowable drivers. Here they are, in the order they move your total.
Per-piece programs (batch runs)
Four inputs set your per-piece number. The blank: a cotton tee, a quarter-zip, and a leather portfolio are different purchases before a single letter goes on; we source at wholesale volume or work with stock you supply. The method: embroidered initials are the volume baseline; heat-applied full-color names price similarly; laser engraving on leather or metal carries a premium that matches how it reads. The letters: three initials sew faster than "Alexandra" — letter count and size are literally stitch time. The quantity: setup costs are fixed, so the per-piece figure steps down at roughly 100 pieces and again around 500.
Two line items surprise first-time buyers, and both are worth paying for: roster verification (we reconcile your name list and flag inconsistencies before production, because a misspelled gift is a negative gift) and per-recipient sorting or drop-shipping if kits go to homes rather than one office.
Live station programs (events)
On-site monogramming is priced as an event production. Complete staffed stations start around $5,000 for local Southern California events — equipment, trained operators, setup, and teardown included. Staffing runs $250 per hour, counted from load-in to load-out, not just the guest-facing window. Events beyond Orange County, LA, and San Diego — Las Vegas included — add a $900 travel fee. Blanks are scoped to your headcount on top, at the same volume pricing as batch work.
How to budget without a quote yet
For a rough planning figure: take your headcount, choose the item tier (cotton, mid-weight fleece, or premium leather), and assume the personalization itself is the smallest of the three numbers — blanks and, for events, staffing hours dominate. Then send us the five facts (items, count, names vs. initials, city, date) and we'll replace the estimate with a firm number, usually within a business day.
